Project Overview
This initiative represents a dual-site Rapid Response Housing development located at 179 Main Street and 626 Alexander Street. Constructed to address the urgent homelessness crisis in Vancouver, these buildings utilize advanced modular construction technology.
By manufacturing the units off-site, we were able to deliver 140 safe, self-contained homes on an accelerated timeline, bypassing the lengthy delays associated with traditional concrete construction. These projects serve as a case study for how underutilized urban land can be rapidly activated for social good.
Operations & Management
Both properties are managed by our non-profit partners at Community Builders. They provide round-the-clock support services, ensuring residents have the stability and care they need to maintain their housing.
